When you have a problem with your devices, I have a solution.
Over 40 years in helping and educating people to connect with their devices.
TIPS and Advice that may help you.
Many problems can be resolved remotely thus making it cheaper and more convenient for you. Many people ask if they should upgrade their computer or by a new one? My response is if the computer or device is bothering you so much (recurring shutting down unexpectedly, recurring freezing, slow as in you can't get anything done, won't turn on, etc.) then it is time to get a new computer or device. Printers constantly lose connection with wifi. If you're connecting to a printer with a laptop or mobile device this could be a problem. If your computer or laptop is stationary (you never move it) then it is best to use a wired connection (USB printer cable). Printer cables are universal. It doesn't matter if it is Windows or Apple machine and it doesn't matter what model of printer you are using. Printer cables come in different lengths. Wifi is for your local connection (think connecting to something local like your printer) while Internet is outside your house and provided by your Internet company. When you can't connect to something local then the problem is wifi. When you can't access a webpage then you're problem is the Internet. Not everything bad is a virus and not all pop-ups are viruses. To keep it simple, when in doubt...call me. After a few calls you'll learn what to worry about and what not to worry about. Please, call me before you call the person who claims to fix all your problems for $300 and then insists that your credit card isn't working and asks you for another credit card. There are people out their that will ask you to pay with gift cards. This is also illegal and a scam. They will also ask for access to your computer and show you the history of hackers breaking in. Usually fake. Call me first before it costs you your life savings. Remember, the IRS and your bank will not call you or email you and they definitely will not ask for your password or access to your computer.
